We are so excited to be done with school and joining the world of employed people. Chad started his job with Dr. Mark Sanderson a week ago and is trying to train with him. So far he really enjoys it. I am anxiously awaiting that first paycheck. I think I have plans for the whole check already. (how sad is that?)
We are staying here in Alpine with my mom and it has been a lot better than I thought it would be. We have pretty much taken over the basement. Chad has been working to finish the unfinished apartment area. That will give us one more bedroom another bathroom and a kitchen. We have tons of room and my kids love that.
The kids started school about a month ago and are really loving their new school. They love how good the school lunch is and that they can sit wherever they want in the lunch room. They are starting to make new friends but it is alot more challenging for them to get together with them because everyone lives on larger pieces of land and there is a bit more of a walk to get to their houses. We feel like we are in a different world here.
Our ward is starting to grow on us. It is nothing like our ward in Forest Grove (we will always love that ward). There are a lot of youth and a little bit smaller of a primary. I got my calling yesterday. (You better sit down for this one) PRIMARY CHORISTER!!!!! When the counselor asked me I started laughing! I know NOTHING about music or leading. I said yes of course but I have a lot to learn. My mom is the primary pianist so I think that just assumed because she is musical that I am too. It should be pretty interesting. Ok, you can stop laughing now!

Merrie! I am so happy to see you in the blogging world! Good luck with your new calling, see the leading lessons in RS will be paying off, right? :) The best thing about a music calling in primary is that the kids don't care if you know or don't, you'll be awesome!
Hey Merrie I've been meaning to comment on your blog for a while but of course, The lazy bug has gotten me. We miss Avery skipping down the sidewalk and Sage runnning after her. We miss all of you and hope your family is doing well.
