On January 11th we had a big surprise party for Grandpa Lafe Parrish's 70th birthday. There was probably about 75 people all hiding downstairs at their friends the Aults. Grandma slyly persuaded Grandpa to go by their house so he could look at something in their basement. The kids all thought they were being quiet but with 30+ grandkids all saying "SSHHH!" there was a lot of noise. Grandpa was still surprised though and was in tears at the sight of all his children and grandchildren and all of his dear friends.
